Alexandria Area Stewards Program

The Alex Area Stewards Initiative has been gaining momentum since its initial inception in May of 2008, powered by the excitement and commitment of our Stewards Group. Specific accomplishments have included:

• The completion of a Regional Perception Survey process along with small group conversations throughout the area, focusing on the future of our regional community. Over 1,050 surveys were completed.

• Identification of 13 Destiny Drivers/Goals to help improve the overall well-being of our area.

• An informational publication on the Stewards and Destiny Drivers was published and distributed to businesses and individuals throughout the region.

• Meetings focusing on increasing regional collaboration have taken place in Osakis, Glenwood, and Brandon.

• Continuous work on the advancement of Destiny Driver initiatives throughout the region.
